National apprenticeship week: what’s coming up from captiva

National apprenticeship week 2026 provides a valuable opportunity to celebrate success, share learning and focus on the future of apprenticeships. For employers, providers and partners, it is also a moment to reflect on how apprenticeships are driving skills, progression and productivity.

Throughout the week, Captiva will be contributing to the national conversation, highlighting good practice and engaging with partners across the sector. Activity and insight will be shared using the hashtag #NAW2026.

A key highlight of the week will be a roundtable event focused on the future of apprenticeships. Hosted by Captiva in partnership with Hackney Local Authority, the session will bring together colleges, providers and employers to explore how the system can better respond to workforce needs.

The roundtable will take place on 12 February from 10:00 to 12:00 at Teesside University. It will provide space for honest discussion about what is working well, what needs to change and how collaboration across the system can improve outcomes for learners and employers alike.

National apprenticeship week is about more than celebration. It is about momentum and action. Captiva Learning is committed to supporting employers to use apprenticeships strategically and effectively, both during the week and beyond.
